The Technology of Prayer: How Intercession Moves Mountains
In a world obsessed with technology, the church often approaches prayer as its most primitive activity. But prayer is the most sophisticated spiritual technology in existence.
Prayer does not bend God to our will. It aligns our will with God's — and in that alignment, the impossible becomes inevitable.
Three Dimensions of Effective Intercession
1. Informed Prayer. The most powerful intercession is grounded in the Word. When Daniel discovered from Jeremiah's prophecy that seventy years of captivity were ending, he did not celebrate — he prayed.
2. Persistent Prayer. Luke 18 gives us the parable of the persistent widow — the posture of the intercessor matters. Some breakthroughs are delayed because the intercessor quit too soon.
3. Corporate Prayer. The Upper Room preceded Pentecost. Before the church was a preaching church, it was a praying church.
