Dry Places Are Not Dead Places: Finding Purpose in the Valley
There is a scene in the book of Ezekiel that has haunted and sustained the vision of FOHWOM since our very inception. The prophet is carried out by the Spirit of the Lord into the middle of a valley — full of very dry bones. And yet the Lord asks: "Son of man, can these bones live?"
"The valley is not your destination. It is your classroom."
What the Valley Teaches
In Scripture, valleys are not places of punishment — they are places of preparation. The valley does not reduce you. It reveals you. It strips away everything that is not truly yours and leaves you with only what is real.
A Word for Those in Their Dry Season
Your valley is not your ending. It is your beginning. Prophesy to those bones. They will live.
